Facilities
Our labs are equipped with bleeding edge equipment and software. Windows and Mac software is used with dual-boot Intel Mac workstations. Interactive media is designed and distributed using this lab. Programs such as the Adobe CS5 suite including Flash, Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and After Effects (to name a few) are used with the latest versions and updated regularly. This gives the student the most current software in which to learn and become employed in the interactive design field.
Video Production facilities include a production studio and non-linear editing lab. Students become proficient in pre-production, production and post-production with the latest video production technologies. Students use the studio for green-screen or multicam productions using the HD workflow. Final Cut Pro and Avid are used to edit projects to meet broadcast standards. Students learn to distribute their projects to the web or DVD using Compressor and DVD Studio Pro. In most cases, the labs are more technologically advanced than industry studios.
